A stunning Autumn afternoon offered the perfect backdrop for Tahlia and Phil to share and celebrate their love with 12 of the closest family and friends. They said ‘I Do’ under our natural arbour followed by canapés, cocktails and lawn games around the fountain before moving to the deck to enjoy an intimate dinner.
Tahlia shares their experience of Eloping at Montville Estate
Our experience of Montville Estate was perfect. The day was magical and captured exactly how we wanted to share a small and intimate ceremony with our families and close friends.
The venue is stunning and really came alive once fully dressed. It provided everything that we needed, with modern and luxe touches that mirror our aesthetic. We appreciated the 3-day stay to really soak up all Montville Estate and its surrounds had to offer.
Having everything in the one location (ceremony and reception, but also close to all conveniences/main street of Montville) made things feel easy and natural, providing for the casual and intimate wedding that we had hoped for. Our guests were able to see themselves safely home afterwards, and then easily pop by the next morning for final goodbyes.
Some of the best parts of Montville Estate's service was their dedication to communication; we were always able to easily communicate and reach Nichola and her team, which made the whole process feel seamless.
Nichola also made many quality recommendations for vendors, and we used those exclusively. Time has been taken by Nichola to source local, small businesses to facilitate Montville Estate's elopements which not only helped us feel proud to support the local community, but also delivery of all services was timely and without issue. An almost all-female team (for our elopement) greatly assisted me (Tahlia) to feel held, comfortable and relaxed on a typically emotionally-charged day.
Of course, the luxurious estate and immediate surrounds was the jewel in the crown. We couldn't imagine a more perfect venue for an intimate and sacred wedding.
